a drawing about winners and losers. In honor of Gold Dancer, who died during the Grand National Festival Aintree on 10th of april. Doctors killed him just after finishing because he broke his back in the last jump with his legs going straight backwards. His rider pushed him to the finish, probably destroying the possibilty of recovery, he wins the race but loses life.

Gold Dancer was brown but I like to think of him as a white prince, maybe because it makes it more heroic and he becomes the winner.. projecting on him the human thought that nobody wants to be a victim in the end.
